I viewed my free credit report online from Experian. I know I can still request a free credit report from the other 2 companies this year also (TransUnion and Equifax), but would prefer to space them out throughout the year to view changes and updates. My question is will there be a difference in the reports? I know the 3 may give me a different credit score, but will all my accounts with the amounts I owe be consistent? Thanks.

I am an H1B holder and I am in this country for 2-3 months. But I didnt a way to make credit reports yet. Could somebody advice me how to make credit reports to my account?

My bank sends me quarterly bank reports. I don’t really have anything of note on them as I pay my credit cards off in full on time.

I know there are suggestions as to how long to keep credit bills, bank statements, receipts, tax returns, etc. What is it for credit reports from Equifax, etc?

I own a small business where there are numerous debtors who run up bills and then refuse to pay. Are there any credit reporting agencies which will accept credit reports from me without charging me any kind of fees? I cannot afford to pay a membership fee. I am already losing money and only a small percentage of debtors will pay to resolve a bad credit report. Many just don’t care if they have a bad credit rating. Thanks.

I saw some topics that say chase freedom signature visa reports as a “opening account” in credit report instead of “revolving account”. Is it right or not?
What is the different between “opening account” and “revolving account”? which one is good for improve credit scores?

There are several items on my credit report that were in collections but I paid them. They also indicate that they were paid in full/closed on my credit reports. However, If I mail receipts of these paid collection items to the 3 credit bureaus can I ask them to remove that collection information? Would they be able to delete that information since the account was paid?

I was told that since they were paid that they were void anyway. However, I would like to have them removed. What if I dispute them? Can you dispute paid items on your report for removal?

I just got a new job in finance, I have to learn how to read credit reports to decide on loans. I understand some things on a credit report, but I would like to find a website that breaks them down for you…..any ideas?

I am behind on bills, and needless to say I need a job. It seems I am up against bad credit reports when employers run a credit check. I was not able to apply for a temp-to-hire job because of credit. I need a job to pay off bills but I am having a hard time finding work because of credit.

I am going to file bankruptcy within a month if my house does not sell by the end of February. Looks like that’s what will have to happen… I know it’s inevitible now. I want to get past it and get the Bankruptcy off my credit reports as SOON as possible, no matter WHAT it takes… is there ANY way to do this?

I am looking to buy properties in Ohio to start renting, but don’t know how to get credit reports on people or to find out if they have stiffed other landlords. Also, what is a good credit report threshold to use for renting? Should I go by a minimum score (say 600) or go by percentage of rent to income (say rent can’t be more than 25% of their monthly income or something to that effect)?
